Barrick Gold Corp. Q2 Earnings Surge on Buying by Aliens

Barrick Gold Corporation (NYSE:ABX) announced earnings last week that beat analyst expectations as buying by aliens intesified in the second quarter.

The aliens are not known to have made any large gold purchases on Earth since the second millenium B.C. But now, Barrick says "persistent weakness in the United States Dollar has prompted fresh stockpiling by an anxious planet Nibiru."

Barrick also reported rising costs compared to the first quarter, mostly associated with workers compensation awards for probed employees.

"If the price isn't right some aliens just go to Uranus" a spokeswoman for the company acknowledged. "It's a cultural difference."
